Really interesting read thank you. This conception of God reminded me of Jung's Abraxas which is based I think on a Gnostic conception of a God that incorporates all, good, evil, hate, love etc.

I also have always enjoyed Alan Watts' discussion of The Book of Job. He sees it as a response to the idea we still see in fundamentalism today, that if we face hardship that it must be a result of sinful action. He suggests that it teaches that it would pure arrogance to assume that we are able to understand the world through our conceptions of justice and pass judgement on others. Maybe a great lesson for those who blame every natural disaster on the sexuality or 'immoral behaviour' of others!
