The Medium model makes it very easy to slip into the trap of writing for the platform I think. I’ve always enjoyed your writing and am pleased to see others reflecting in this way. I have been thinking similarly and it has slowed down my output but hopefully will make for better writing.

I loved the Red Book too even though it was a hard read sometimes. I’ve always wondered whether Jung experimented with psychedelics or whether he was just skilled in activating his imagination and diving into the unconscious. I’ve heard different scholars argue that both he was a user of psychedelics and others suggest he advised against their use. I don’t know enough to answer the question but often wonder.
